Cabin Entertainment System FAQ | AdonisOne

Frequently Asked Questions

The AdonisOne in-flight entertainment system provides inflight streaming to smart

phones, laptops, and tablets. Stream hundreds of movies, music, and magazines

with our top of the line airborne entertainment. Do you still have questions? Here

are the most frequently asked questions about AdonisOne and our cabin

entertainment system.

Does AdonisOne provide internet?

No, internet systems for aircraft are very costly, require aircraft downtime and certifications. In addition to downtime and loss of revenue, internet bandwidth is cost prohibitive in most cases. All of the content is stored on our built-in server and provides inflight streaming through the Paradigm Tech proprietary WiFi router that is built into each AdonisOne cabin entertainment system.

How long does the installation take?

The AdonisOne inflight and cabin entertainment system requires no downtime or installation and does not require any certification. Your system is up and running in 60 seconds after you place it onboard and turn it on.

How many movies can be stored on the AdonisOne?

Depending on your inflight entertainment requirements, Paradigm Tech can custom build a system to store up to 1000 movies on your AdonisOne cabin entertainment system.

What comprises the AdonisOne Platform?

Paradigm Tech utilizes HTML5 / JavaScript to allow users to connect to the system without an app. In the case where a DRM subscription service is in place — requiring latest release movie content–,  an app is custom built for the purchaser. Our hardware is built using up-to-date Intel latest Intel Core processors and solid state hard drives.

Do you provide discounts for fleet operators

Yes, Paradigm Tech provides generous fleet discounts from 15% to 20% off.

Do you provide movie content?

Yes and no, it depends on your requirements. We have two types of software solutions for content. The first is a self-loading content solution that allows the operator to load all of the media content on the system by way of our custom and proprietary administration portal that is built into every AdonisOne system. The second is a full DRM solution which is a monthly subscription service that will provide fresh media content and inflight streaming to your AdonisOne cabin entertainment system. In either case, you’ll still always be able to load your own content through our administration portal.

What is your hardware warranty?

Paradigm Tech warrants every product made with a 100% hardware warranty against defects. We offer maintenance plans that provide a free hardware upgrade annually. As our systems evolve over time, so will yours. Ask our sales reps about those maintenance plans.

Do we have to purchase a battery operated AdonisOne?

No, we have two AdonisOne systems, one with a battery pack and one that utilizes your aircraft’s power.

How long will the battery charge last?

Paradigm Tech has designed the battery packs in the AdonisOne IFE System to handle long flights. A typical 120 PAX system will run none stop on battery power from JFK to LAX, approximately 9 hours. If the AdonisOne system is plugged into the aircraft onboard power outlet, the system will run indefinitely.
